Avery's Limp

Avery went to the vet for his limp today. The vet thinks he can feel some thickening around his ankle/foot. He tried to do x-rays without sedation (we've done that before without too many problems) but Avery won't let him. So now, Avery is still there and they are sedating him for x-rays. I'll let you know what they find. In the meantime, prayers and good thoughts are much appreciated.

Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts! It is not serious. (Whew) X-rays are good. Hips look great, knees are good, no cancer, minimal arthritis. Slight thickening around hock appears to be the mysterious "old track injury" finally located. We'll try ten days of Deramaxx (Avery tolerated it well last time) and see if it helps again. My poor boy is happily asleep on his bed now, and I am breathing a sigh of relief.

So glad to know it is not serious. Have you ever tried him on Fresh Factors and Joint Health? link to Springtime

The combination of these two supplements has been very good for my older pups. :)
