Bill419 Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Tipper was in pain a lot last night and so we decided that it would be best for her to go to sleep. It was a hard decision because we always had a little hope that she could get better but, of course, this is bone cancer we're talking about and it wasn't going to get better. So we called the vet at 7 a.m. and made an appointment for 2:00. We did get to spend some more time with her and then before we knew it, as the doctor said, "She's gone". My heart feels like it's been torn out of my chest; I haven't cried this hard in years. Our beautiful, goofy, people-loving queen is gone. I hope she waits for us on the other side because I want to see her again. Ozziemydoggy Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 I'm so sorry. Artemis had bone cancer and she went from happy pup on a walk to couldn't get off the floor in about an hour. It's so sad when the doctor said "She's gone" but happy because we know they don't hurt and can run as hard an as fast as they want without any pain. Good-bye Tipper.
