Guest DogDayzGreyz Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 I can't believe it's been a year. A year without my escape artist, cat zapping, couch hogging grouch. And I miss him every single minute. I woke up this morning expecting sad, but I wasn't. I am tearing up thinking of him, but mostly today I am grateful I had him in my life at all. Having lived with Billy and shared his adventures, he taught me that you can in fact, enjoy every day, even when it seems like you couldn't possibly. He was an incredible gift, my canine soulmate, my best friend. I hope I gave Billy the best gift in the end, dignity and an end to his incredible pain. I doubt I will ever know a dog quite like him again, but I do know I will never forget him or love him any less than I did a year ago today when I said my last goodbye. I miss you, tiny man, you were small, but Man, you had a HUGE heart! I hope you are eating anything and everything at the bridge, and loving on your brother!
