I don't have any advice as I didn't know what to do for my Rusty, but I got a lot of help from GT friends. I just kept kissing him and telling him he was the best boy in the world. Batmom Posted November 5, 2007 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Hopefully he can start his meds today? The pred should make him feel better, at least, and should help his appetite. When B started pred (very low dose), I initially made him go out every @ 2 hours, whether he asked or not -- if he got up on his feet, we went out for a quick pee. He could make it @ 6 hours overnight. The drinking/peeing effect diminished over 7-10 days as his body got used to the dose. Hugs.
