One of the things I have done to keep mine from licking boo boos on their legs is to take an old long sleeved shirt and cut one of the sleeves off. Then make two strips from the back of the shirt and attach them to the top of the sleeve. Put your pup's leg through the sleeve and tie it around her body. You may have to play around with where the ties work best. My vet was very impressed with this make-do sleeve. It sure is better than having them wear an Elizabethan collar!
