  1. I'm so sorry! :cry1 what a beautiful, special little girl!
  2. although I never got to meet Miss Nellie -- I feel like I knew her through you and Brian, Suzy! She was and always will be the biggest inspiration for hounds with cancer. I know she's loving every minute at the bridge, whole again and not sick. And keeping an eye on you guys -- and ours -- her picture hangs right above their water dish, right in our kitchen, where we can see it every day sending hugs to all of you! :bighug

  7. Hi from a fellow GPA-WI'er, Shawn! I'm so sorry you about the circumstances that brought you here :( I know you'll get a lot of good advice here! Kim
  8. I voted 2-4, tried to average the two. With Nube's bloat, that was 3 (or 4?) times just for that, plus his regular preventative. Then Rainey went once for preventative, but again for rabies that was due 4 months before the other. Oh, and stitches in Dec of 2005 when her and Nube duked it out . I didn't factor in the urine and pooper samples dropped off though....
  9. welcome to GT! and so glad Cade is home! :yay not only did you have all the dedicated folks out there helping, you had TONS of prayers coming from GT too! I had "tracked" the topic and each and everytime my little email bell went off, I RAN to AA to see if there was news! greyhound folks are one of a kind!

  19. It's taken me a while to post because I've just felt SO BAD for you, Jenn and I just couldn't find words to say :( :( I just couldn't believe that your poor Cinder had passed. :( I am so sorry that you have lost yet another of your sweet babies It is just NOT fair!! Last year when we had to put our lab Chester down, his best buddy in the whole world, Captain, could not live with the loss. Five days after Chester was gone he became very ill -- it was a brain tumor that had been there for a long time but once his best friend was gone he went downhill very, very quickly -- and was reunited with his best pal shortly after The ties that some dogs have with each other are so very deep Cinder was a beautiful and very loved girl -- and she is running pain-free at the bridge now, and is now with her best buddy Tigger
  20. please give your friend our condolences!
