  1. Has anyone had experience with this disease
  2. I have heard of Dr Skylos, Dr Honor Ame Walesby did Daisys knee, she was very good, staff great. She did another surgery on one of our other greys about 2 years ago and we really liked her. She is in Catonsville, Md. We are in Finksburg its about 1 1/2 hour from Washington Wishing the best for Velvet
  3. My 5 year old "Daisy" had TPLO surgery 6 weeks ago. I have no idea how she did it and both my vet and the surgeon said it was very unusual that a Greyhound had a injured ACL (total tear) We are doing good, with PT, leash walking, and off the sofas which has been the hardest. have about 16 weeks to go. There was a sigh of relief when the diagnose was ACL and not Osteo…..Crazy Good luck with Violet...…… I see you are in Md. who are you going to see
  4. Kathleen was a very special lady.....I know she is dancing with the hounds......We saw their show many times and enjoyed every one. She truly loved her girls. Our prayers go out to Gil and the Dancing Girls
  5. I also have a very picky eater.....She seems to get tired of her kibble even when I put in extras. She too is a very small grey only 52 lbs and 11 1/2 years old. but always has been a picky eater I cook up chicken and ground beef to add to her kibble and then I sit on the floor and hand feed her (not with a spoon, LOL) Very seldom does she eat by herself. Yes, she trained me early in her life and now has me wrapped around her little paw. Its our together time
  6. Thank you....got my coupon for a free bag today
  7. Rhonda I know how you are feeling and my heart is breaking for you It was this time last year that Bodie, Carrier then my Max had their Amputation. Max lost his battle back in April. When the time comes I know Max (with four legs) will be there to help him cross the Bridge and will show him all the fun things to do. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Bodie and your family
  8. Jenny, so sorry to hear about George. Know that he is pain free and running with our Max and all the other Greyt Grey angels. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Tom & Marge Clara, Dreamie and Liberty
  9. My Max also had the hind leg and part of the pelvis removed. He never master steps but enjoyed running. Happy to hear that Ceasar is doing well and will keep him in our prayers for continued healing
  10. My new boy whom we have had 6 weeks has the worst bowels I can't really say its diarrhea cause he only had 2 sometimes 3 a day but when he does its either soup or thin pudding. He has been to the vet with 2 samples the last one he sent out for evaluation and came back negative. He has been on Metronidazole (flagle) 50mm 2 x day for 10 days. no change.....1 week ago I started to switch from Natural balance to purnia one for sensitive systems. so far no change I've tried pumpkin, nothing---He is happy, eats great, plays shows no sign of sickness...He is two never raced and a real sweetheart Oh, he weights 72 lbs. Any suggestions
  11. Thank You All for your input I will stick with the Frontline-top spot I thought I had read something about the Plus having some adverse effect on some greys. I'm not going to take the chance thanks again
  12. What is the difference between Frontline Plus and Frontline Top Spot. I have always bought and used (9 years) the Frontline Top Spot. (purple box) Went to buy it at the vets yesterday and he only is now selling Frontline Plus. I am always leary of changing something that is working. What is the difference? and do you use is safely.
  13. We lost our first one month before her 10th birthday with cancer and our 2nd at 11 yrs and 3 months after amputation and chemo for OS
