There will be lots of presents under your tree When your fur-kids number three lets see ... today we have Buck - Poodle - and Kenny !! Grab your tape measure and give this elf some favorite colors & sizes - so Santa can get all the right surprises. How about Toys - How about treats ... what do they like to eat? How long are each of their backs - how big are their toes? Measure around each neck, and every cute little nose. How far are they off of the ground, how tall are they and how round? How much do they each weigh - are they big enough to pull Santa's sleigh? Is there anything you need ... or any thing you don't? Pam - do you like coffee or do you like tea? I'm Elfing today on behalf of a very special Secret Santa who needs to know - Tippers measurements from his head to his toes. Around his neck, between his ears and the size of his cute little rear! Does his stuffies need to be neon bright - to find them in your winter white? Santa knows about your cold and snow. How does he fare in -20 below? Does he like to snuggle all warm inside - or zoom in the snow, toss stuffies and hide? Is he a bit of a girly man - who will proudly wear bling when ever he can? Does he need anything for Meets & Greets - or would he rather have something to eat? Tell me all about this handsome man & we'll spoil him the best that we can! Santa needs pictures too - Just post them here - That will do! ZoomDoggy Santa knows you're a very special mom and would like to send you a gift too - Just a little something to pamper you! What will make your day - candles, chocolate - or something sweet? Or do you like to take long bubble baths and soak your feet? Maybe some lotion to sooth your skin, as winter is soon to begin! I can attest to how nice these hoodies are - I purchased them for both Rainy and our Secret Santa Recipient last year. They fit nicely to the shape of a hound's body & are snuggly fleece. They are great for those days when your hound needs a little 'something', but it's not cold enough for a coat.

Santa has asked me to help find out all about your sweet Dallas ........ First - I need to know her sizes - can you measure her nose, measure her toes. How big is her neck - how long is her back and what the hey - how much does she weigh? What colors does she like to wear - what goes the very best with her hair? Does she like to wear hoodies or jammies - you know the cute doggy underwear? Does she enjoy the girly bling? Does she ROO - Does she sing? What type of toys does she find fun - the ones that she can toss, and catch and run. Stuffies are nice - they giggle, grunt and scream --- of which does she dream? Treats are yummy - and which are her favorites for her cute little tummy? If she needs anything else - just let us know .... this elf is running late & has to go!

Santa has asked for my help so to spoil a wonderful Canuck hound with a cute overbite! So ..... EGG ..... come on down! Cedrick is the hound of choice today. First off - Santa must know - has he been naughty this year or nice ?? Or does he keep you running after him all day What is his favorite thing to do and holidays to celebrate? Does he prefer to chase the Bunnies? - or a big Fat Squirrel ?? Does he like Stuffies that squeek, grunt or scream ? ..... Does he like to travel or sleep on the couch? What are his favorite reindeer games to play? Does he like the snow and cold & playing in the snow - or tucked under the blankies all warm in his bed? How long is he from his head to his toes? How long is is nose? How big is his neck and long is his back? What is his favorite thing to eat when he has a munchie attack? Is there anything he needs? Anything you want?

Rainy wants her Secret Santa to know that she received her Santa Card in the mail and that she will do her very best to stay on top of Santa's "Nice"List. She wanted me to show you a photo of her in her new Therapy dog "outfit". She also wanted me to tell you Santa that she's been busy helping children learn how to read in the Dog Tales program at the Library, and that's she's been a very good girl this year.

I am always ready to lend a hand, too.

I have always enjoyed the fact that our past Secret Santas have always put in something special for me too. I love the idea of receiving something special that is regional to their area. Last year our Secret Santa spoiled us all the way from Hawaii & I was delighted with the chocolate covered macadamia (sp?) nuts that were tucked inside the package for me to enjoy. (And absolutely blown away at what Rainy received!!) I've always done the same - sent packages that were 80% full of things for the hound(s), and I try to tuck in a little something extra for "mom". Secret Santa along with the Greytalk Christmas card exchange are the high points of my Holiday season, since all of my family live out of state.

Trudy - I did read the first message in this topic .... according to it - when you should see the "waiting on another member" is after you have shipped your package out to your receipient & you are awaiting word that it has been received at their end.

We better wait to shop until we find out of we have received our "real" matches .... most of us are getting the "WAITING ON ANOTHER MEMBER" message - like the packages have already been shipped. I received my match today too .... I am as charged up as the rest wanting to start my Secret Santa Duties! Lets see if the system is going to be okay with these matches ...... In the meantime .... we can research the first match-ups for ideas - and hopefully we get to keep the ones we are assigned to!

I'm ready to finish my SS Santa shopping. I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps checking in to see if I have a match.

I use my local dog groomer - she charges $5.00 to trim all around, then she dremmels the nails smooth & expresses anal glands (if needed). I have a bad habit of quick-ing on black nails, so I'd much rather leave this to a pro to do. I can trim horses hoofs like a pro though ... LOL. Give me nippers and a rasp any day!
