  1. Sorry to hear of your loss - she was such a beautiful hound! Run free Lizzy.
  2. To my dear sweet PUP - we miss you SO much !!!! Here is a photo from last Christmas, showing him with his Secret Santa Gifts. We lost him in April to Osteo: And I lost my other "son" in Febuary, at age 33. He just wore out - Gemini was that once-in-a-lifetime horse. He took me 230+ miles on the Michigan Shore-to-Shore trail ride @age 18 - and was an International Class A Champion show horse, and sire of numerous champions across the US & Canada. He was "the" horse that made our farm. I present to you a photo of SX STALEYS GEMINI (*Serafix x Neecheza by Natez) at age 29 winning his last Regional title - Region 1 Top Five Halter Stallion! Sorry the photo is so dark. and here's a photo when he was just a "kid" - I think he was about 17 here .... LOL I miss your soft nicker - Big Guy!
  3. Ok ... LOL !!! Photobucket "says" that my siggy is now 12k. Does it LOOK right now? What I ended up doing is looking up my saved 100x500 image in the Photobucket (it said that it was 20k) - I went into EDIT & I resized it in Photobucket to 75% .... then it said that the image is now 12 k. Could it really be THAT easy ???? ..... Having my fingers crossed that this worked the way I think it did! Have a great day! Cory
  4. Jeff - Could you please tell us how to reduce the k size on our images? I would like to use the 150 x 500 image of my Greyhound as my signature. It was removed because the file k size was too big. I need to know how reduce the file size so it will be under 15k. Seems that there are several of us here that are technically challenged with the same issue .... Can you explain [in simple terms] how to reduce a file to Greytalk guidelines?
  5. I tried to make my siggy in my PaintShopPro program - and after hours of frustration I finally came up with one that the program said was sized to the allowed size of 500 x 150. Now that I try to use my new signature, it is pulled, because it has to many k (?) ..... HOW do you adjust a k ???? I sized it right - so how can it be too big if the image is the right size? I've read through this whole thread trying to figure out the "k" thing ..... and I have no idea how to fix it.
  6. Hey Trudy, If my event tracker says "You do not currently have any incoming packages." ---- Does that mean that the party that is supposed to be mailing to my dog hasn't confirmed with the system yet? I got my matches last week ......and I confirmed on my end for the dog(s) I'm sending to. Guess I'm just a bit confused as to if the gifter on the other end did receive the information for my dog ..... and what the event tracker will say once they have picked up the information.
  7. I just wanted to thank everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. We now have his ashes home and there is a great comfort in having Pup home with us once again. Thanks again - You Greytalkers are the BEST !!!! Hugs to you and your hounds, Cory & Mike Sayen
  8. I'm so sorry - I know the pain. We picked up our Pup's ashes from the vet today. Osteo has taken too many of our beloved hounds lately. All the while we were fast losing Pup to Osteo, I was reading and following along with Miss Nellie & I kept hoping and praying that she would beat this terrible Cancer for atleast a little while longer. I'm crying with you today

    Flash

Hugs to you and your husband. I'm sorry you didn't have more time with flash once you found out that he had Osteo. We have been losing too many of our beloved hounds to this terrible monster. Having lost Pup just on Monday from this, my heart feels the same pain you do. It's so hard to send a beloved hound to the bridge. Flash and Pup are now running together - free of their pain.
  10. With a heavy heart I have to report that my dear hushand, Michael & I sent our PUP to the bridge on Monday after a long battle with bone cancer. He went through so much pain, but was still very much our Pup inside until the end. I want to thank all the wonderful people on this board who sent warm wishes and good advice to us during the 3 months we battled the Osteosarcoma beast. I wish the vets would have gotten things right during the first couple months we battled this, as Pup was in pain that he should not have been put through. He kept his dignity to the end - and he left this earth surrounded by the people who loved him the most. The house is SO empty now ..... we miss you! Run free big dog - your legs all work again & you can fly on the breeze! I took lots of photos during the last few weeks of his life & have updated his on-line album, he was still cute to the end! He raced under the name of RED ZEPHER - but was PUP to those who loved him. Pup's photo album
  11. I want in on this too ..... who's pup can't use a surprize box of goodies and treasures in the mail. I love secret santa games.
