  1. Sadly, I can't do that from my work PC - can't access the photo sharing sites thanks to security filters. I will try to re-post the photos of Nedra from the Irish Fest a couple weeks ago later tonight.
  2. More like all the food that Ru, and Delta particularly, don't eat right away that Neddie goes around and cleans up. I've begun picking up the bowls if Ru and Del don't eat right away. Of the 3, Nedra is the one who doesn't turn down anything I offer her. Fruit - yum. Veggies - ok. Yogurt - slurp...
  3. Thanks, everyone. I forgot to ask what time they do surgeries when I dropped her off - this is the group's vet, not my personal vet, so I'm not as familiar with them. She was a good girl this morning, going in the car right away and going into the vet's easily (last two times, she balked). She turned into a little porker, up from her first weight check with me at 59lbs and change to 65 lbs and change! I'd say she's pretty darn healthy at this point, huh?
  4. Yes, after a few delays due to Christmas, ice storms, and then me selfishly wanting her to be able to be at the North Texas Irish Festival a couple weekends ago, Miss Nedra is finally scheduled to go in for her spay and dental on Thursday. I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed that all goes well for her. I figured that those of you who followed the FWACC hounds' stories would want to know. I'll try to keep you posted tomorrow. I hate that my little princess, aka Cheeky Monkey, is going to have to go through this and be hurting for a little bit. I know it's for the best though.
  5. Dewbailey, I have no advice to add, but just wanted to say Thank you for sticking by Jesse through all of this. So many times, folks come here for advice but give up before even trying one suggestion. You have lived with Jesse's issues for a year and a half already and nowhere in your initial posts were you talking about rehoming him. Kudos to you, and I hope that things work out for you and Jesse both.
  6. No advice. Just thinking good thoughts for Steak and for you, hoping that your vets can get this under control quickly for his happiness and your peace of mind.
  7. I'm so sorry to hear this. There aren't enough words to make the pain go away for you, but know that you and Angel Ladybug will be in my thoughts today.
  8. I am so sorry that the time has come. No matter how much time we have to prepare ourselves for it, it is never easy to reach this point. to you and Neyla.
  9. Welcome home, Rush, welcome home. Kyle, wishing you all the joy that we here on GT know a greyhound brings to your life!
  10. Aw, smooches to Isis, and hopes that she feels better soon. at the vet. Mango would do the same thing, lay down and stretch out, but she would do it on the floor, so my vet would get right down there with her, and so would I the times that we had to wait for things like xrays or blood tests.
  11. Keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to get some answers today for Isis. I know how much it hurts to know they are sick and not be able to figure out what is causing it. Hugs to you and Isis!
  12. Checking in to see how Miss Isis is doing today...
  13. How's Hunter doing today?
  14. Sorry that you had to go through all that, but glad to hear that things seem to be turning around. And impressed with the surgeon's response to all of it. to you all
  15. Nedra smacks her lips when she wants a treat. Delta smacks her lips in her sleep. They are the first two hounds I've had that I've experienced that particular sound with.
  16. Aw, jeez. Not what I wanted to read. I'm so, so sorry.
  17. I missed this earlier in the Summer. Just wanted to say that I'm sorry that it turned out to be OS.
  18. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
  19. No advice - just good thoughts for Matlock, and for Myredsterling and Mike, too.
  20. Be sure to celebrate yourself along with Neyla: it's because of you and the things you have been doing for her that Neyla has made it this far. to you and Neyla both.
  21. Hoping you get some answers from your vets, and in the meantime, holding you and EZ close in my thoughts today.
  22. No advice to offer, but sending
  23. Thought of this thread while shopping at Sam's Club in Denton, TX Friday night. Turned a corner there and was faced with a whole skid of the large-size cans, in 3-packs....
  24. Sending this late, but still keeping Aquitaine in my thoughts for an uneventful recovery from her dental.
  25. Kyle, it was great to meet you and your wife at Greyfest! I hope you checked everything out and enjoyed your time there. Please don't hesitate to ping me through GT if you have any questions at all.
