We're waiting for an update on the session on the 11th.  Did you have roaring crowds?  Did you have to read an encore?  Or did you make just 1 or 2 kiddos very, very happy?

Yes. Inquiring minds want to know. The hurricane will wait while you update us. :rotfl  Stay safe!

Yes! Willa barked once at about midnight and they decided they wanted to walk then. Fortunately the staff had accommodated our request for a room on the ground floor close to an exit and we just went out in our PJs. :lol

Speaking of higher standards, Doolin had no reservations about eating the scrambled eggs from the free breakfast, just his kibble.... Goober!

I always made sure to have a really good flashlight with me and blinkers on their tag collars when we stayed in hotels. At a couple of the hotels we stayed in, there was nowhere to walk except the edge of the road, near traffic. The blinkers really helped.

Doolin said there was no sign stating who gets the free breakfast.

  3. Fantastic pictures!  You both nailed "roadtrippin."

Rocket loved roadtrips but would rarely drink while we were on the road, and was never all that interested in eating when we arrived. It seems to be a thing. He loved getting to a hotel and meeting people once there though. The hotel staff would usually make a huge fuss over him and any kids in the hotel always wanted to meet him. Middle of the night walks were also mandatory at hotels, because, smells...:lol

The boy hated Motel 6 though...I think he had higher standards. :rotfl

  4. If I'm remembering correctly, and this was a Loooooong time ago, when Rocket had the same type of diarrhea he was diganosed with stress colitis. There was nothing we could pinpoint it to but it happened several times over the years.

As far as the panacur, I think we sprinkled that on the food and it was fine - it actually helped to calm his stomach. Another option would be to put it in unflavored gelatin capsules and wrap the capsule in cheese or something else of high value (pill pocket, hot dog etc.) He ended up eventually being put on Tylan which we made capsules for. Tylan has a nasty taste so it has to be masked - sprinkling on food won't work with that.

I will be there and staying a new place this time. Also dogless so looking forward to seeing all the greys!! <3

I guess those of us who are dogless there should setup a hound day care. :lol

You'll be only a 9.5 hr drive from us. There's also a small airport 20 miles away. We'll leave the light on for ya :coastie

I wish we could. This is usually a 2 week fall trip to see family with GRTB mixed in. This year we have to fly in, go to GRTB and fly out a day before everyone else to get back home for....reasons. I don't like it when we have "reasons" to deal with.  We will only see family members who show up at the beach on this trip instead of being out there for a couple weeks to catch up with those we haven't seen in a few years.

Maybe CG should come to the beach to hang out with Miss Irene and the Camp Broodie Mark staff.
