    I've lived with two brood mamas. Treasure is patient, easy going, somewhat aloof and very sweet. She is loved by all. Loca was a bossy spitfire who was a master thief with a huge prey drive. Having said that, she showed so much empathy towards people and greyhounds alike. She was tons of work and I often threatened to just open the door and let her go, but I loved her to pieces.

    Oh no, Jennifer and Robert, I'm so very sorry. Cleo was a girlie to be reckoned with. The only dog more domineering than Loca. I hope she has found Phene and Loca by now and is having a blast. Hugs to both of you

    Treasure is my second brood mama. I love them! For the most part they are very calm and can bring an entire playgroup of hounds to a stop with one look. My first brood mama was a bit crazy (in a fun way) but I think she was the exception.

    I have. I went to Chile for three weeks, which was extended to 4.5 weeks due to a huge earthquake. Everybody was fine. My dogs were separated; they stayed with different friends.

    Today would have been Phoenix's 10th Gotcha Day. He was such a sweet, wonderful guy. I miss him a lot. This is one of my favourite photos of him. Tricia (45mphk9) took this at Dewey a couple of years ago. This is how I most like to remember him; at the beach, soaking up the sun and hanging out with friends.
