  1. poor Loca just fell off of the futon. she never moved but i can see her breathing. is this normal after being given painkillers? unfortunately i don't know what was in the shot she was given.
  2. loca is absolutely passed out on the futon. she didn't even eat her dinner.
  3. poor Loca has both a UTI AND vaginitis. the vet took a vaginal swab which she has sent out for a culture. Loca had three shots; antibiotics, an anti-inflammatory and a painkiller. i was sent home with baytril, tramadol and metacam. poor Loca. she's doped up now. as for the office pool, not only did i win but the bill was twice as high as my guess . oh well...you do what you have to do
  4. we have an office pool going on the cost of tonight's visit. my guess is $400, a coworker guessed $250 and another guessed $125. anybody else?
  5. Loca was kind enough to get me up at 5am to go out, only to pee on my living room rug as i was getting her collar and leash. my sweet little money pit is off to the vet at 6:30 this evening. wish us luck!
  6. how horrible! I'm so sorry
  7. you and Willie are in my thoughts
  8. i give them tap water. should i be giving them bottled water?
  9. would this be different than her annual senior blood work? food makes a big difference with her. i had recently switched to Orijen and her peeing was even worse, so I switched back to California Natural. She's still peeing
  10. Loca is 13.5 years old and is prone to UTIs. She was most recently treated for a UTI last month or so and her urine came out clear during the follow up visit. I have a feeling it never actually cleared as she has been on a pee fest lately, plus she has been panting a lot, which is new and very troublesome. What tests should I ask the vet to complete so we can rule out a long, stubborn infection? i forgot to mention that her senior blood work was completed a couple of months ago and came out normal thanks
  11. Oh no, Carol. I'm so very sorry
