Oh, Iberia, I think about you almost every day. It's comforting to know that you're having a blast at the Reko picnic. Now go steal some meat and cheese!
Take it easy, Robbie. Be kind to yourself
I hate it when people suggest that maybe you shouldn't have this dog. It's hard to tell somebody's lifestyle from a couple of posts, especially since we are often exasperated by the time we ask for help.
It seems like you're doing everything right. Only you know how things are going, and it seems like you're doing the right things. It's only been a couple of months. I think there aren't a lot of greyhounds who can seamlessly blend into an active household. It takes time and patience. Maybe we can trade; Treasure would love an environment like the one you've described
It sucks, doesn't it? It's bad enough that you lose your dog; then nobody wants to deal with you whine whine whine, but maybe people are afraid, or don't realize that we're hurting and that we need support now? who knows...my mood will improve.
Thanks for asking. We are both missing Phene like crazy. She's whining and I'm crying. What an obnoxious pair!
This is the first time she's been without Phene since I adopted her two years ago. She doesn't seem to know what to do. She hates going outside now so I have to go in the backyard with her. I've been taking her for extra walks, and trying to get her to play, but poor thing doesn't have a clue.
I would also see a neurologist if possible. Loca had a problem like that. The solution would have been tons of rest, as in keeping her off of her feet for eight weeks!
