Our thoughts and well wishes go to you and all of Larry's friends left here on earth, both 2 and 4 legged. I followed his story from the start and it was all about love. Thanks for opening your home to Larry in his time of need.

I lost my personal version of "Man's Best Friend". Cherry, we still think of you often and can now laugh about some of your funny antics. You gave us almost 12 years of the most wonderful memories. Say hi to all the other puppies at the bridge and remind them that they are still very much loved from those still here. Cherry and I would almost always snuggle on the floor when I got home from work for a few minutes and I would let her know about all of the stuff I had to deal with at work that day that never really made much sense. She always understood fully and made me feel much better. Cherry, it has never been as easy to go to work since I know we can't discuss the day like we used to. Rest well sweet pup!

Well Cherry it has been another year. We still miss you and talk about and to you often. You would have been 16 this year if things had worked out better. Have a party at the bridge with all the other bridge kids and don't stay up too late. We were talking a few days ago about how you would come in and stare at us if we didn't go to bed on time. It was like you were saying that you needed your beauty sleep. You will always be beautiful to us. We are doing well but miss you greatly. Till next time, Papa misses you.

They never really leave us once they are in our hearts. What a beautiful boy!

We have only had one grey and she was an only dog for almost 12 years. It never seemed to bother her. In the early years, she had two cats that she used to chase for sport, never did anything to hurt them though. I think it really depends on the dog. One of the reasons that my wife doesn't want to get another dog is that she feels we could never get another perfect dog that is happy to be on thier own. I am not convinced.

Rest well Quilty! You are clearly a very special angel and will be long remembered.

Your story touched my heart. So sorry for your loss. Sounds like you had 8 wonderful years.

Many of us have been there and these feeling are totally normal. You made the most caring decision possible and turned her pain into yours. May you find peace in the this most difficult decision. In my case, the second guessing will pass, the feeling of loss takes a lot longer. Remember, she is in your heart and lives on there forever.

I love the name Yogi Bear, go find some pic-a-nic baskets Bear. So sorry for your loss.

I am so very sorry that you have to deal with soooo much loss in such a short period of time. There are many of us here who currently don't have greys. As was said, once you have had them, they are always in your heart. Peace be with you. Scott
