I held on to Scarlett until the day before what would have been her birthday (AIDS Walk Sunday here in NYC). That morning my best friend, her husband and I took her ashes to her favorite spot in Central Park and I spread her ashes out. For Morgaine, since she had truly relaxed into knowing that she was home, I kept her until her birthday and then I went up to my roof deck and sprinkled her ashes into one of the plantings there. That particular hydrangea was exceptionally lovely last year.

I am so very sorry. Reggie truly did know how much he was loved. Run brave and free, Reggie.

Not ideal for a long-term diet but my girls have all loved egg salad, rice pudding and canned chicken a la king. All of which are pretty high calorie. Keeping Bumper in my thoughts and prayers.

Maddy, When Scarlett got something stuck in her paw we did Epsom Salt baths for a couple of weeks and then the thing worked its way out. By we, I mean me and my wonderful doorman who took over for me when I had to travel. How many people can say that about their doormen? Kiss Sagan for me and Aquitaine. Carron
