  1. Beryl (6greyhounds here on GT) made coats for my two thunderphobes. All I can tell you is there has been an extreme calming effect during storms when the boys are wearing them. Thank you, B :kiss2

you are very welcome {J} glad it helped your thunderphobes out - give them a hugs from Auntie Beryl and let me know if you need anymore

  2. Thank you so much for all your TLC and kind words, yesterday was the day from H--L, nothing seemed to go right and I was crying most of the day. At least when David was alive he helped me as I helped him through a difficult day but alas no more David for me to cry on his shoulder.

    Again Thank You All

  3. It was 2 years ago that we had to let Queen Softee (SoftShoeSureShot) go play at The Bridge and 5 years ago today that monster OS took our Phawn (GrovyMania). It is going to be a bittersweet day, but I am very thankful to friends I have both on line and by phone to get me through today.... :weep:crying

They are gone but not forgotten as they both left a large hole in my heart

    Run free my babies

  4. I was going to order some, but wasn't sure if it was still available...do you still need an RX for it? Our foster has a pretty bad corn...right now we're doing the duct tape, though we've not had much luck with that in other corn dogs in the past.

no rx needed you just order it from the pharmacy and remember they do other meds also including compounded meds and will mail them to you

  5. Run free Lincoln - your daddy said he loved this poem

    The Spirit Of A Greyhound

I was standing on a hillside in a field of blowing wheat,

and the spirit of a Greyhound was lying at my feet.

He looked at me with kind dark eyes, ancient wisdom shining through.

in the essence of his being, I saw the love there too.

His mind did lock upon my heart as I stood there on that day,

and he told me of this story about a place so far away.

As I stood upon that hillside in a field of blowing wheat,

in a twinkling of a second his spirit left my feet.

His tale did put my heart at ease, all my fears did fade away

about what lay ahead of me on another distant day.

"I live among God's creatures now in the heavens of your mind,

so do not grieve for me, my friend as I am with my kind.

My collar is a rainbow's hue, my leash a shooting star.

my boundaries are the Milky Way where I sparkle from afar.

There are no pens or kennels here for I am not confined,

but I'm free to roam God's heavens among the Greyhound kind.

I nap the day on a snowy cloud gentle breezes rocking me,

and dream the dreams of earthlings, and how it used to be.

The trees are full of liver treats, and tennis balls abound,

and milk bones line the walkways just waiting to be found.

    There even is a ring set up, the grass all lush and green;

and everyone who gaits around becomes the Best of Breed.

For we're all winners in this place; we have no faults, you see.

and God passes out those ribbons to each one, even me.

    I drink from waters laced with gold, my world a beauty to behold;

and wise old dogs do form my pride to amble at my very side.

At night I sleep in angel's arms, her wings protecting me,

and moonbeams dance about us as stardust falls on thee.

So when your life on earth is spent and you stand at Heaven's gate,

have no fear of loneliness-- for here, you know, I wait."

  9. Jan what ever you do please don't hold your grief in - holler, rant, rave but please don't bury your head in the sand. Just remember we are all here for you and you know how to get hold of us - {{{{Hugs}}}} We all love you

  10. My Lady I will miss you - your mom sent me so many pictures and every morning I would wake up and go to the puter for another update on you or a new picture.

I was proud to be your anutie and loved you like my own. Auntie Beryl was very proud of her little soldier who fought a hard battle and wore her soldier coat with pride and dignity.

I know you are running free at The Bridge with no pain and on all four of those big hoofers that momma said you had..
