Guest Carla Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 Hello Everyone, Thanks to all of you for your kind messages about my dear sweet Major. I appreciate your thoughts more than you'll ever know. Major had a stroke last February and recovered about 90%. During the last month or so he was having a hard time getting around and during the last couple of weeks he didn't want to go out for his walks and was having difficulty laying down and getting back up again. On January 8th, Major passed peacefully in my arms with me telling him how much I loved him. Having to say good by to Major after 11 + years was one of the most difficult things I've had to do in my life. He was always so full of life and mischief and he never met a couch that he didn't like. My heart is broken and the house is eerily quiet without Major in it. I have many wonderful memories of Major and even though he is not here physically, he will always be with me in spirit. Run pain free with the Angels my dear Major.
