Guest goddessgina Posted November 6, 2004 Share Posted November 6, 2004 (edited) The vet called this morning to tell me about Maggie's test results-not good. He said that her kidneys were failing and that she needed to be put to sleep-if she could hold on until we even got there that is. Me and the DH rushed to the vet and missed her passing by two minutes. We are having her cremated and will pick up her ashes next week. Run free old girl!!! We lost Sweetie,Piper, FaeRae, and Rosie to kidney failure- it's so upsetting for us when they get so weak and lose interest in food. All I can tell you is that so many GT Angels will help her get acqainted and play with her at the bridge while she waits to be reunited with you..... at least this thought helps me. I know it's hard waiting for the little urn to be ready to come home. She knows you love her even though you couldn't get back to the hospital in time.
