ShanakilMagic
He was only a photo. A face without a name, just a breed Greyhound X.. So I called him 'Lord Jake' He was due to be PTS so I tried to rally round people that were in the area where he was, Ohio. We all hoped that he would be freed soon. Today however he was. But not how we all had hoped. Run Free Jakeling Someone will be there to greet you. Hug your hounds today Quote Clare and Dylan.

Zoolady
So sorry the "civilized" humans failed you and the ones that cared were alerted too late. God speed. Edited to add when I posted I was feeling that they euthanized before the 23 and he could have been saved. I feel it hurts them too when they do what they do, but again, it was done earlier than scheduled. Guest auntiesara
Tears here too. Hopefully the shelter now has the phone # of local Greyhound rescue to avoid the same tragedy being repeated. We transported a Grey who was turned into the local shelter back to the adoption agency and thought this was routine policy.I'm so sorry....Sara
