Dad2Paisley
Our dogs don't wanna go to the bathroom in our backyard grass. It has rained for a few days but they just pee off the deck and poo the the cement area? I am cutting the lawn today and maybe that might help. Any iideas? We don't treat our lawn BTW. FiveRoooooers
Did their behavior begin with the rain? We’ve had soo much rain lately. Some dogs don’t like to get their feet wet and some just don’t like to squat near wet grass. Quote Old Dogs are the Best Dogs. Thank you, campers. Current enrollees: Punkin. rsieg
If this just started recently, then is there any chance they are afraid of fireworks? Logan turns around and heads back immediately when he hears any sort of firework (or even a bang, even if it is clearly a mile away :-) Quote Rob Logan (April 7, 2010 - July 9, 2023) - - Max (August 4, 2004 - January 11, 2018)
Dad2Paisley
They don't like their paws wet and it started even during our drought where we had no rain for weeks. Fireworks if they are going off we don't let the out and it only bothers Thorton. The past few days sunny and still they will just lean over the deck to pee. EllenEveBaz
Will they go with you readily if you put them on leash and take them out in the yard? Will they go on leash readily in the unfenced part of your yard? Dad2Paisley
I cut the lawn and they back on the lawn. Maybe there where bugs in the high grass. I finally got my lawn mower fixed.
