Guest Doggone
Is it safe to give blueberries to my grey, and should I? Would antioxidants be of any benefit to her? TIA
RedHead
Blueberries are safe to feed Dogs probably don't get all of the same nutritional benefits as humans though just because they don't digest much of it...the seeds, skin, etc. will just go right through them as they don't chew them like we do. If you grind or mash them up really well it will make it more digestable.

GreytNut
In moderation they're fine (going overboard will cause diarrhea). I give my crew blueberries as little treats sometimes. They love strawberries too. schultzlc
Luna loves blueberries, and little bits of blueberry pancake, and blueberry yogurt... I think it's fine in moderation. I've also noticed that a lot of treats have blueberry in them. Guest Doggone
Well, it's a moot point........I put a couple down in front of her; she sniffed and sniffed, and then looked at me as if to say "You're kidding, right?". One less thing I have to share...... Edited March 4, 2013 by Doggone

Sambuca
Try cutting a couple in half first. Once she can smell and taste it better, she may like it. After that she will recognize it and eat it whole. I had to do that with clementines at first, now they love them.
