1 Week After Toe Amputation

Recommended Posts

Slick is doing great, he started walking on the foot last Tuesday. We went to the vet yesterday and he got the wrap removed, the vet says everything looks greyt and I agree.

The vet was able to save the pad so he will have protection.

He still has a good deal of swelling but he is walking and playing on it.

Bless your heart, Slick! Be a trooper, now! Just remember where those treats are kept!!

Thank you for posting the pics...my granddog Teddi (kkaiser104) recently faced a toe amputation, and, thankfully, beat that tumor at its own game! What a greyt patient he was! He had a histeocytoma on his toe that ulcerated. My daughter's nursing and his cooperation allowed him to beat it!!
