Blood Blister? Toe Problem

Two weeks ago, my girl Peace was bleeding between two of her toes. I wiped it off and thought nothing more about it, figured she scratched herself in the grass, with the drought around here it is crunchy and hard instead of soft.As I was brushing her teeth last night, I noticed the area there now has a bump, feels a bit soft and squishy..of course I made a vet appointment but wondered if anyone on here had any thoughts on what this may turn out to be. Poor girl has horrible corns and arthritis that is managed with Adequan and supplements, she sure doesn't need any more problems.

Thanks

You know it could be anything. I imagine your vet will want to aspirate it. Could be a benign cyst, mast cell tumor, histiocytoma....

Let us know how your appointment goes.

I believe it is a histiocytoma. Franny had one too. It did eventuallu burst/bleed and then it was gone. This is what her's looked like. I never did take her to the vet for it since it went away on its own.

Update

Peace has a blood blister between her toes from an allergic reaction to a bee sting! what a relief..I didn't put two and two together to realize it was where a bee stung her

Thanks for your ideas.
