I am really having a hard time coming back from loosing Teddy, I have had lots of dogs that have passed away between the rescue dogs and my own but Teddy was very special to me. I always felt that he was sent to me for a special reason, he was my first GH after wanting one for years. For him to turn up in this tiny town shelter where there are no GHs, for me to just happen to stop by that day and that GH rescue didn't come get him just made me think that he was supposed to be mine. It still amazes me the way he came to me. He was always with me, he was my joy and made me laugh everyday. He was the one that was right there with his head flopped on my lap looking up at me with his big brown eyes while I petted him. I do love all my pack and they all seem to sense that I need something so all the Greys have become more loving than ever before. I had to have one of my Pyrs put down last week, she had some type of bone cancer. When I saw the x-ray I just broke down in the vet's office, about 4" of the bone looked like swiss cheese. I know God never gives someone more than they can handle but I wonder how much more I can take. Sorry for being such a downer, I guess I am just having a pity party for myself tonight. Thanks again for being here to listen and for your kind responses. I guess it is time to go to bed and cuddle with the doggy crew. Hug all your babies tonight.
