Walliered
My IBD hound is scheduled to go to Charleston tomorrow and see a vet for nerve root compression. For several months he has not wanted to walk but a few hundred yards and then lay down. Last Saturday he started limping. I took him to the vet and she thought he had pulled a muscle in his shoulder. It has gotten worse in the last 5 days. I took him back this morning and she is referring us to Charleston. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks
Rickiesmom
I may be missing some background, but have x-rays been done?
brandimom
Something similar in my bridge baby Brandi. She was limping. X-ray showed bone chip floating. Vet wanted to do surgery but I took her to my holistic vet. He did prolotherapy - 6 sessions and never had another problem. www.getprolo.com (no surgery just injections). Something to consider. 4My2Greys
No experience, but wanted to say I'm sorry your boy is having more issues on top of what he already has. I know that is very frustrating. I hope they can tell you more and help him in Charleston where he's been referred.
