Guest WarmheartedPups Posted April 11, 2011 Share Posted April 11, 2011 Roo has been on Previcox and Tramadol for LS..... for about three weeks now and she is finally getting loose stools and Gas....I mean GAS....noisey...peel the paint gas....and a lot of it. Is there anything I can give her to settle her tummy? I am afraid she will develop the big D and it will slow down her healing process. Any suggestions? greysmom Posted April 11, 2011 Share Posted April 11, 2011 Ask your vet if you can give her a Pepcid (or generic famotidine) to help keep her stomach settled. I'm also a big fan of yogurt but not all greyhounds can handle the dairy, and it usually takes a couple weeks to build up the probiotics in the system. You could also try adding probiotics to her food - regular ones that come in a capsule or powder.
