I have tramadol in the house, but am trying to only give it at night, if needed. I didn't know about slows down the GI tract. The nsaid's were supposed to reduce inflamation. Tramadol is only for pain. Correct? Today I started Trameel and gave him two doses of slippery elm. He did have diarrhea this morning, but so far no other movements today.

I spoke to his orthopedist today and he thinks trying holistic meds is not necessarily a bad thing. He said give it a shot, and if Fuzzy doesn't seem to be getting better, we can a different anti inflamator.

I almost hesitate to say this, but today was not a bad day. He is sleeping a lot, but I think he is exhausted from making.
