Guest Fasave
A couple weeks ago I posted about a found lump in the roof of Avalanche's mouth. During the biopsy procedure they found he had a torn salivary gland. In addition, Ave had a soft tissue sarcoma removed from his front leg two years ago and the scar site as become different in recent months. So today Ave had surgery scheduled to remove the benign epulis from the roof of his mouth along with two teeth, he had his salivary glands removed and they biopsied the soft tissue sarcoma site in his leg. Once they got in to do the salivary gland procedure, they found another mucous tear so he had additional surgery in his throat. So, they've sent out lots of stuff for biopsy, stitched his mouth, throat, jaw and leg and they are releasing him to come home tonight :yay Getting the house ready for his return and preparing for two weeks of keeping him away from his stitches and hoping for continued good news. Thanks everyone for the words encouragement throughout.

Guest Fasave
Thanks for asking! I just started a new thread in case people weren't checking back here. He appears comfortable and is resting well but is not eating. I'm hoping some people might have suggestions to keep him moving in the right direction.
