Give your cat time ... it took mine a few months to fully adapt, now they're fine together. One thing that I think helped us was feeding the dog and cat in sight of each other (separated by a baby gate) -- helped lure the cat into more visibility. He's a cutie My cats were the same way when I brought my girl home 4 years ago...they took about a week to figure out that she was "okay" and came out around her. Now I foster and the cats don't take as long to feel comfortable when I bring home a new foster...as long as the grey doesn't seem interested in them!!
