RobinM
Ollie is being treated for roundworms. He took the drontal about 7ish and was gnawing on a hoof later in the evening. He ingested a lot of the hoof and threw up partial dinner at 11ish last night. Do i need to do another round of drontal or do you think it was already absorbed. Guest Energy11
I am not sure how much of the Drontal was absorbed. I'd give the vet a call. Good Luck with him!

Tracey
Is there anything else they can give him? Cosmo threw up both times she took Drontal and she never threw up otherwise. I might wonder if the Drontal and not the hoof made him throw up too. Quote ...............Chase (FTH Smooth Talker), Morgan (Cata), Reggie (Gable Caney), Rufus (Reward RJ). ahicks51
Serum levels peak in 30-120 minutes in dogs: http://www.elephantcare.org/Drugs/praziqua.htm The original reference for that is Veterinary Drug Handbook Fourth Edition, Plumb, D.C., Iowa State Press, Ames, Iowa, USA, 2002. So, if I'm reading it right, by three hours it should have already been absorbed with most of it having undergone first pass metabolism, yes? Now just pray the other 4 don't have it. It could really mess up Beau.
