jamngrey
We are on the final stages of Guens healing process with her toe amp. Let me tell you I learned tons with that one. Most important DONT GET WET. (any way I digress). I come home today hounds greet me but Psi seems a bit off. I feed them and my food obsessed dog Psi just walks away and lays down. I tryed to get him to eat but no way so I just chalked it down to the fact it is a new food and he was picking at it yesterday. We then go into the bed room and there is blood all over my bed . Now I know something is wrong with Psi cause he is the only one who get up there. Yep sure enough he ripped a toe nail. I could move it around (kind of like a loose tooth). Off to vet we go. They needed to pull it out. So now I am at it again with a pup with a wrapped paw that cant get wet. I am going to be on him like white on rice till tuesday. Wish me luck. I know this is minor considering all the sick hounds but had to post edited to add. Poor guy had to walk out with a PINK wrap job. Guest Energy11
Sorry to hear this! What was up with the pink, anyway? We used to offer the clients their choice of vet wrap colors. Poor guy. Tell him pink is "in" these days! :-)) Good Luck with the nail ... been there, done that, with Staggerlee.

Hope everybody is healed up quick! Ya I finally figured out how to do it. I got some baby socks...a sandwich baggie...and a strip of the velcro stuff for holding things together. I put the baggie on kind of wrap the two ends around, then put the baby sock on...then the velcro thing tight but not too tight (cant slip cause foot bandage is still to big for it to slip over) So far it has worked wonderfully and quick and easy to apply and remove. Thanks for all the well wishes Edited September 4, 2009 by jamngrey Quote Cassie: Pikes Clara Bell Swoop: My Man Swoop BRIDGE ANGELS Psi:WD'S Aleford 3/17/00-4/25/10 Snowman: Gable Snowman 1/9/96-2/14/
