Guest EaglesMom
We met Ashy (Hey Ashcraft) at a farm where he was living with a lot of other greyhounds waiting for his forever home. He was living in a crate and although he was fed and loved, it was not where he needed to be for the rest of his life. Ashy was older than the average greyhound looking for a home, he was black and we were not totally sure of his cat status. With so many greyhounds needing groups to take them, folks in the world of adoption know how hard it is sometimes to place these dogs. GPA-Maryland agreed to take this boy and Liz agreed to foster him and proceeded to fail fostering.................... So Liz, although you only had Ashy for about a year, it was truly the best year of his life. He was loved, went to Greyhound Events, had a soft bed of his very own and I am sure he enjoyed every single moment of his time with you. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for loving him, he deserved it and I am sure he is telling everyone at the bridge what a great family he had. May your memories and love for him get you through this difficult time. Run free Ashy, we will ALWAYS remember you........
