fourofem Posted February 24, 2009 Author Share Posted February 24, 2009 He had a good night and seems to be feeling much better this morning. He's still limping but it doesn't look quite as bad as yesterday. Either that, or I've adjusted to it. One of my vets switched him over to a different NSAID, Piroxicam. He got his first dose this morning so we'll see. I'm also going to try spacing out his Tramadol with three smaller doses a day rather than two big ones to see if that will keep his more comfortable. It's supposed to warm up some over the next couple of days so hopefully, he can spend some time doing his favorite thing....sunning himself in the backyard. In talking with other GTers, it sounds like these up and down periods aren't uncommon. Lewis and I thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. It helps.
