GreytHoundPoet
Well, our last foster has moved to a new home in a city over an hour away. There is a family interested in him there. So, we switched off and brought the first female greyhound home. The only female dogs that have been in our home is our Dalmatian, my mom's dog and a female galga. Meet Pepper, or as my fiance is calling her, Lorelei. (He hates the name Pepper...says "a dog is not a condiment") She is 1 year and 9 months old. Didn't want to race and the only cat safe creature in this house. She is sweet and walked int our house and suddenly peace came over the testosterone tower. All the boys love her. My DF loves her. She is going to get spayed next week (was supposed to be tomorrow but we're supposed to get a bad snow storm). She is playful, but not hyper, gentle, and learns quickly. Meet Pepper aka Lorelei. PrairieProf
Wow, at least in the pic she looks a good bit like Argos! Show those boys what for, Lorelei! (Or you could call her Connie or Condie, for condiment! ) She looks so much like him that I have mistaken them out in the yard. Argos has much more black on his back. And big, floppy galgo ears. Guest FullMetalFrank
She is adorable... Watch out for those sweet little girlies, they have a way of working their magic on the men in the house! When we got Chelsa she was here on a "trial" basis (foster with intent) and it didn't take her but a minute to wrap Gene around her little paw! dlgwarner
I don't know what's more captivating, her ears or her eyes. Like everyone else, I just said "wow!" when I looked at her picture. I too live in a house full of guys. Besides DH, and my new boy Ringo, I have two sons and two male cats. I'm sure if I new how to check, I'd find that the three fish are male too.
