ShantisMom
Well, I am not as disappointed today as the last test...just not doing back flips yet. The good news is that her IGM has gone back to NEGATIVE The not so good news is that her IGG is staying at 1:32. No change again. We changed her medication and increased her dose. I will talk to the vet tonight and see how we proceed medicine wise. The other catch is that we tested after 6 weeks instead of 3 months. That may play a factor. So, we keep plugging away! ShantisMom
Much better news than going backwards and higher - woohoo Shanti - does she act like she is feeling better? How is her tail? Hoping all stays well with beautiful Shanti and the rest of the pack. Sending hugs and scritches. She seems much perkier and eats like a champ right now. We are still on a nice dose of tramadol daily. I doubt we will get off that for a while longer. Her tummy issues seem to be going away too. Knock on wood! She is even stealing toys from Asti and running off with them. I pulled out one of our cheap lounge chairs the other day to lay by the pool, she snaked it from me. I was surprised she attempted that one. Her old one that she broke was big and stable. This was a cheap flimsy one. So far no more staph infection showing up. We are a couple months in the clear so far. I still check her 10x a day. Robin you are right. Baby steps are good in the right direction. Hopefully by the next test we will see some more progress. I am so thankful we got the IGM negative. That means there are no "baby" ones. Nothing new starting. That is a good start. I hope she remains feeling good and eating when we mess with her medicine which I am sure is coming. Quote The Girls
