Wonder
Sparky woke me up at 2am so I took everyone out to potty. (my mom said he puked earlier so I thought maybe he had an upset tummy) When I got back in bed, Sparks laid next to me and I noticed his breathing was off. It was like 1 breath was 4 breaths and I could feel it making his body quiver with each breath (hard to describe). Not sure how long this lasted (10-15 mins) but it finally stopped and he was breathing normal. any idea what this is? should I be concerned? Guest vahoundlover
If his breething has been ok since then....I'd call your vet this morning, explain what happened and see what they say. Sending lots of *it's nothing* thoughts and prayers.
JAJ2010
Was he maybe sleeping and dreaming? If not I'd call the vet to just check. Hope it's nothing Quote ------ Jessica

Jiffer
Could he have been smelling something in the air? I have watched our guys scenting and it sounds much like you described.. like they're inhailing multiple times in quick short breaths.
