cello Posted March 30, 2008 Share Posted March 30, 2008 (edited) Please keep my friend Wendy in your thoughts and prayers. One of her older girls was potentially diagnosed with Lymphoma on Friday. Yesterday, one of her boys had emergency surgery to remove a nine pound mass from his abdomen - they are thinking Hermangiosarcoma. My friend is understandably beside herself with worry. Definitive diagnosis should come this week on both hounds. Please pray for Wendy and her pups. Thank you all. Carol Ann Monday Update: Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. My friend has a call into Dr.Couto regarding Tess who definitely has Lymphoma in her intestines. Pending Dr. Couto's input they will start her on chemo as soon as possible. Dalton is recovering well from his major abdominal surgery. The nine pound tumor was on his spleen, so they removed both the tumor and the spleen. Wendy was actually able to pick him up from the evet yesterday and take him home. He is at her regular vet today, and they will decide what needs to be done next. The tumor was likely a hermangio.
