RobinM
Polli who has had a severe limp 1 week today has all of a sudden shown a slight improvment. I don;t know if she is on her way to getting better and I should postpone taking her and wait a bit OR take her in an hour. She is NPO so she is ready to go... Don't know what I should do. I know what I want to do. I also don't want to sedate her unnecessarily and stress her out for nothing. What do you think? Greylover97
I would take her in anyway. Not to scare you or anything but when Kira was diagnosed with osteo she went through stages of limping and then being perfectly fine (in connection to whatever drug she was on). It eventually got to the point that the limp stayed. Take her in for xrays and more or less peace of mind. Sending good thoughts. Guest greytmonty
I would take her, I couldn't stand the thought of her worsening again over the weekend and then kicking myself! (I mean, if I were you....) good luck!
Mystella
JMHO is I would take her. Stella has had 3 sets of xrays that turned out to be only soft tissue injuries so now I wait for 3 days of limping before taking her in. Jiffer
Yup, agreeing with the rest. You need to take her in and be sure it's nothing serious. Guest fastdogs
Take her in. Bo was limping. I gave it a couple of days to see if it was just regular aches and pains before I took him to see his vet. Turns out he has the early stages of arthritis and slight compression in his S1. He's on Previcox and has had marked improvement. Good luck.

ZoomDoggy
Yup, agreed with everyone else. Esp since the weekend is here. My luck has been that things often get worse when vet offices are closed. RobinM
Thank you. I really didn't want to and was looking for anything not to have to. She's in and I am waiting, not patiently, but I am waiting. Guest jurishound
Does she have to be sedated for a limb X-Ray? I would also take her in, particularly since it's a long weekend. Hope she's better soon!
RobinM
yes, she has to be knocked out so they can do the neck and shoulder. She had the leg/elbow done last saturday without sedation and it was clear.
