Guest Zoomom
I came home today to find my poor pygmy African clawed frog, Splash, dead in his aquarium. I got Splash sometime in 2000 from the drugstore Walgreens, where they had little plastic boxes with a little water and a frog on the shelf by the register. Not much is known about the life span of clawed frogs because they haven't been in the pet trade all that long, and also because they are usually considered "disposable pets" and not given the kind of care that would let them live a full life span, but I feel like seven years was on okay life for Splash, although it came as a shock to me, and I am very sad about his passing.
