Guest Emma1 Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 My sister and her boyfriend have a very sweet little doxie who is having spinal difficulties. Poor Maddie can't use her back legs at this point in time. She has been treated by her vet and is on medication to reduce swelling around the discs (I think); she is scheduled for a neurological evaluation and possible surgery Monday morning. I don't have a medical question as it seems that Maddie is receiving excellent care, but Maddie's family and I would greatly appreciate any/all prayers and positive thoughts. Heartful thanks. We have 3 greys and a mini-dachshund. We had 2 of the greys and Ollie the doxie, walking into the local pet store. A woman stopped to say how lovely the greys were, then saw Ollie and said,"Oh! And this must be their baby...". A mini dwarf-legged greyhound indeed! My little greyhound is in the hospital, too, so I feel for your family. On her doxie board she has a good friend and their little doxie has a cart and I have to say...that little thing REALLY gets around and does very well!
