Sending many prayers

How can you stand waiting before you can snuggle with that little sweetie? You must be sooooo excited!

Sending positive thoughts. Everything should be okay, and Cannon is getting an earlier start fighting the cancer. What are they giving him?

I hope you have some special time with Beecher today. It is so hard to say goodbye.
-
Sending positive thoughts for your friend's pups. It must be very hard for her to have two serious health issues at once.

as of yesterday morning dr. couto still hadn't received the x-rays. i left a message at my vet's office and will follow up today. we were wondering...the digital x-ray files must be enormous; does anybody know if they are generally difficult to send via email?
I had digital x-rays of Snickers and they weren't difficult to e-mail. They might have been compressed, but it included software to open them right on the disk.
Sending many positive thoughts for your Loca.

Little Roo is home from her spay. She is just a few hours out from her surgery and anesthesia so she's really zonked. It'll be easy keeping her calm like this, but I'm sure in a few days it'll be a lot more challenging.
Thanks for the good thoughts and Xan's chant!

Lots of hugs for you Kerri. Your pups appreciate all you do for them. I'm sure you can get Gus's tummy troubles straightened out, the paw issue sounds like it's a foreign object and the lump could be anything until you hear otherwise. I know how overwhelming emotionally (and financially) it is to have health issues with more than one dog at once, but you will get through all this. Deep breath, and one step forward at a time. Sending lots of positive get well thoughts to your three pups.

Max and/ or Mazy have worms - white ones. Someone threw one up last night that was about 1.5 inches long .We know what to do with them - our vet will give us drontal to both dogs and as long as we can keep our resident poop eater from eating the poopcycles we can get rid of the worms.
Lately I have caught our 20month old DD drinking face first from the water dish. Yes, this is gross and we are discouraging it (after we took pictures). Can DD catch worms from drinking from their dish if they have worms?
After you took pictures . I'm not positive, but I think the worm eggs are excreted in the poop. Someone else could probably pipe in with accurate info. Good luck.

I know what you mean. I miss Cricket so much it's hard to even think about her some days.

Save those chants and good thoughts....the vet's office just called and asked to postpone the spay because a dog that had been hit by a car needs emergency surgery to repair a leg. So, Princess Roo has a last-minute reprieve. She's scheduled for April 4th now, because her requested vet is off next Friday (worth the wait!).
Spoke too soon....vet just called and she is doing surgery this Monday and Roo is scheduled for the 24th!

still chanting here....

I'm so sorry.

Wow. I don't blame you for walking out.

Somehow that chant is stuck in my head now....especially powerful with those big brown eyes staring at me in your siggie.

Following in the paw prints of her sister Daisy, little Roo is heading to the vets for her spay tomorrow morning. I'm not sure if they are keeping her overnight, but I know that I'm going to be a wreck until I get the call that everything is okay....

What a beautiful series of photos -- I was ready to run errands and now I'm bawling my eyes out. I'm so sorry osteo took your Penny, Kerri. The first picture of her surrounded by her brothers is precious. My deepest sympathy to you for your loss. I hope Penny meets up with Cricket and Snickers and all the other bridge angels. Run pain free sweet Penny

Joining the Cheerio chant....hugs to you and your Happy.
