  1. She is in for her dental. She decided half way to the vets that she wanted to at least put half her body in the other front seat.....so I spent half the way saying "Grace, get out of that seat!" It didn't make a difference.... Good thing she is cute.
  2. She decided that I was not taking off the front paw bandage and it was stuck pretty good. After the rear bandage came off, she did use 3 legs. Grace got dropped off the the dental and Mizzy got her bandage taken off (yes, it bled some and she has a small bandage on). Mizzy is home and resting. Chiropractor due this afternoon.
  3. I so know how you feel Sending my sympathy

What a handsome guy Sending my sympathy
  5. I know of a few greys who developed kidney failure from pest treatments of the yard. Please be careful. Ask the company if what they are spraying is ok for cats (and even then, I'd find out the chemical and research it)
  6. Bringing back to the top for those who have not seen it.
  7. Path report back. I thought he was sending it to A&M but he sent it to Idexx (not my favorite people). Interpretation: chronic moderate to severe footpad hyperkeratosis with mild secondary pyoderma No indication of viral papilloma (told you the derm vet was a waste of time and money), pemphigus foliaceous or any type of autoimmune process. Other than knowing she needs to go on antibiotics for the bacterial infection, I'm not sure what..... Ohio State consulted.... Chiropractor coming tomorrow.
  8. Yes, at least 5 or 6 treatments, then evaluate. Nail trimming: I think my vet charges $15.....unless they are doing something else. Sounds like a decent vet! Here's hoping.
  9. Eliza has been gone 10 years and if I think about her too long, I'll cry She was my first and closely fits your description of Aria! We were lucky This is in my favorites folder:
  10. Who was the vet tech that kept Bodie at her place for Rhonda? Sending lots of prayers. I would take her there.
  11. Definetely could be. How is he now?
  12. I asked Dr. Bill and he confirmed that dogs do not have an appendix.
  13. She is running on two legs I got the back bandage off, need good scissors for the front. I am sure she is all out of whack. Will call the chiropractor today....

Such a tragedy.....please give the family my sympathy. Run like the wind sweet one
  15. Well--you caught it early! How long till surgery? Sending lots of prayers.
  16. I saw in another thread about an appendix being removed I thought dogs didn't have an appendix.. In looking at the anatomy, I don't see one: Anatomy of the Dog and Cat
  17. Sending my sympathy and crying with you
  18. She did get up in the middle of the night and hobbled into Lynn's room to get her to let her out. She is eating. I think she'll feel much better when the bandages come off. More prayers welcomed Thanks all!
  19. Scooby gained 5# when he went on thyroid. There is a sick thyroid that is a response to illness somewhere in the body. In advanced age seniors, I have chosen to treat and several have had a great last year or two (some 6 months--but at least they felt good!)
  20. The only way to really find out is a specialist Sending prayers.
  21. Do a full panel at Michigan for the thyroid. You know--as my vet says, 99% of the greyhounds he has examined have tender abdomens. That and getting their nails done (or not....) are what they are known for Sending lots of prayres.
  22. It depends. I've seen it work the same day, sometimes take 3 to 5 treatments, seen some work well during maintenance and some seemingly not at all. I know that doesn't tell you much.....
