  1. I have to agree with above. Bring in bottled water. If you do the home delivery, it's not toooo expensive Sending prayers that he recoups well.
  2. Your extension office should be able test the water and I don't think they charge. From some of the articles, there's a lot going on with water. If you think it's undrinkable, it most likely is. The PUR filter removes a lot of junk and attaches to the faucet.
  3. Sending prayers for the little guy. Filter your water or bring bottled in. I highly doubt it is causing lymphoma, but stranger things have happened. I would be very concerned for your family if there is in fact, some kind of link! On second thought, bring bottled water in. Don't even chance it for now. The other thing is that I have seen people who end up "specializing" in certain diseases, not by their own accord. I hope for you all, lymphoma is not yours...... After doing some searching, don't drink the water nor cook with it until you have it tested: Bad Water on Military Bases This article is on well water, but I saw another that said a city was using some well water, so how do you know? Well Water & Cancer
  4. With prescription enzymes, life is good I got Panakare from Omaha Vaccine which worked fine and much less expensive than Viokase. I wonder about a gluten intolerance also. I've had a few that needed enzymes for a short time. How old is the new greyhound? Him/her? Sending prayers!
  5. Not to that extent. I had a Dane years ago shoot out a good amount of blood. Never found out why. The vet thought a vessel burst and then healed. Hopefully you are dealing with a specialist who knows greys(?) Sending prayers.
  6. How about your local shelter? Any food would be appreciated
  7. Sending lots of prayers. If they have not treated the babesia, he could be crashing.

Hard to believe it's been a year already
  9. You mention pyrantel, but not panacur. Some dogs cannot handle kibble. However, if he has worms, nothing you do will help.
  10. I'd worm him with 5 days of panacur to start. Have you tried raw?
  11. I start my guys on Fresh Factors/Joint Health when they are around 7 (unless there is a previous injury) regardless of symptoms. Yes, it is proactive.
  12. Many don't treat that titre with NO symptoms. However, with symptoms I'd be treating! If you do, make sure the vet changes the needle after the draw of Imicarb and alternates sides for the second injection.
  13. Think of you all often. Sending lots of prayers If he wants meat--give him meat. Magic survived months on WalMart chickens
  14. Is the dog in PR or the States? If he has erlichia, he needs treated with doxy asap--an injection followed up with pills. Not sure what a shot of dex would do to a dog being treated with HW. If adminstered, I don't see why a dog in PR would need anything more (strength wise) than we use here.
  15. Is he losing any big molars or canines? If not, and they are all the smaller teeth, it won't be bad at all Sending prayers!
  16. Happy Birthday! What a wonderful gift from Kylie

    Sending my sympathy
  18. Food can, but something else, undetermined can also. Shadow had a bout that almost killed him. He recovered and did not have a recurrence and I did not change his diet. He was eating SG Holistique Blendz. You may want to change to CA Natural, reduced fat. I'd stay away from pig ears, etc. Sending prayers
  19. Where did your grey come from? Did he race? Which meds is he on?
