Dewey Goes Pink often lines up with GRTB.  I'm coming back from a summer of plantar fascitis and slowly working my way back to 3.1 miles.

My real concern is Mercury.  I might be able to leave him with the woman with whom I'm staying but I hate to impose.  I can pay for houndie sitting but he doesn't enjoy and just stands there waiting for me to retrieve him. :(

    Poor Mercury!

I would probably do it since I’m there with the husband, but I will pass and keep the trip to just all about the hounds.
Good luck getting back to running! I had a bad injury 5 years ago and took a year off running and I missed it a lot!

    Thank you for the response!

Yes, after some more research on here I've found that a lot of people feel like their greyhound "tells" them when they're about done with it.

Yup, that’s what we were told.

The more freedom in the house we gave the young new girls the better they behaved.

Strange but it was our story.

  4. We are on our second set of greys... our rescue told us at some point they would let us know when they were done with the crates.

The first 2 didn’t mind the crates for a good 6 months. But they were older and used to them from being at the rescue for a while before being adopted.

Our second pair (current) are young. We adopted them when they had barely turned 2 and they weren’t at the rescue for more than a day or 2. They INSTANTLY hated the crates so they were only in them for a week.

See how it goes, but I’m not a fan of forcing the crate. Good luck!

I'm glad it worked. And my card from camp greyhound is already decorating my dining room all next to all the other lovely cards. ❤ I'm going to take a pic of all of them on the 25th. 😁

I was trying to get my husband to read the german on your card... his company he works for is based in Germany and he's picked up a little German here and there.

Plus he figured with the last name Dietz he should know some LOL
