So so sorry, God speed little Echo. Watch for my white Brin he's brand new there too, maybe you two brindles can become buds and tear that place up. Fetch your wings puppa.

I've not been around much but still stop by once in while to check out the topics, still consider this one of the best greyhound sights. Last Tuesday brought my Brindle in to have his nails clipped. Asked the Dr to take a quick look at his left hind quarter nothing major just thought he may be favoring it a little. Xrays and a nod from the Dr he got it,OS. We made a deal with our puppas, you'll get the best life any dog could ask for but if cancer comes up we will not put you through it. Wounds are still very deep right now, I know we did the right thing for him. I'm coming home, I'm coming home, Tell the world I'm coming home. Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday, I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes. I'm coming home, I'm coming home, Tell the world I'm coming home. This was the song on the radio when I first pulled up to the vets, I looked in the rear view and saw two big brown eyes looking right back at me. Guess I should have known... Love and miss you so much puppa, be a good boy I'll see you soon. love dad

Hey kids, It's been a long couple of days with my SD, baby girl is home and thank you all. I've ranted before how much I hate reading this 'remembrance forum' but until you need it, it really helps and we've got a great group here. SD was really touched to read all replies to Daisey...Thank you all again. Christopher, Holly(SD)

Four pounds of love that would fit in the palms of your hands. GTers may remember my rant asking God to 'step off my SD for a while', well yesterday he decided to take her two year old Yorkie Daisey Mae. I don't understand. All you folks that have kids at the bridge, we now have Daisey wondering around lost. If you could ask your pups to push her the right way and please if your houndies could watch over her, she is so tiny and we are so scared for her. I don't get it and I'm not supposed to question; but really enough is enough. Both Mom and I are tired of crying ourselfs to sleep. Daisey Mae- "Not a clue my little girlfriend." Please prayers and lights for my SD and her X. You can't break our hearts any more, but then again maybe you'll find another way. PEACE Goof Chillens' Amber Daisey Mae Chritopher and Mommy

Wow that was very nice. Sitting at work balling my eyes out. The bride and I had our melt down last night over our first little girl, and I'm sorry to say I don't think the pain or visions ever go away. Peace

We spoke with R&R last night and brought back a lot of pain we had from our first girl. Then we made the mistake of looking for a special pic of Goof to send to them letting them know she was at the bridge waiting on Amber. My gosh people say time heals all wounds, we sat and cried all night long talking about our little girl...... Thanks for all your prayers, we'll print this out and include it with the card and photo. peace

Just off the phone with the bride and my SIL had to say good bye to her 15yr old puppy, Amber. This pup went thru everything with them and this one will hurt for a long time. If you kids would please send prayers and light to R&R in FLA, thanks Chris Get your wings puppa, run free from my three houndies

My pups are chewing worst than ever this year. They're on the frontline and I pick up the yard every night to cut down on the flies, but what I noticed yesterday was when is when you brush the grass a whole bunch of tiny, like miget flies appear. Could this be whats biting my fellas ? And have you ever heard of spraying the yard with dish soap to rid this problem or what else can I do ? thanks

Same here Again same here. But I'm sure like everyone else they end up with a whole bunch of other names, dude, puppa b, wiz kid rock star....Funny I was telling my wife why do they even name greys they never listen, unless it's dinner or your holding a treat. Thanks for picking up another hound, good luck

How Much Weight Did Your Grey Gain After Adoption?
cacky replied to a topic in Health and Medical discussion
I thought the rule was no more that 10 lbs over their racing weight. All three of my pups ran from 75-79 lbs and all pups now are at 83-92 lbs. We didn't know anything at first so when we first got red he ate with the german shepard and ballooned over 105lbs, I thought the vet was going to take my head off. Thats when she explained the 4-5 ribs showing and the 10 lbs limit. All my pups are on raw/semi raw no kibbles and for the last 3 years have kept the same weight. -
He's been on Benadryl since the second week we got him, it's the only thing that seems to keep his eyes clean. And we're just outside of Boston so with the rain and now the heat that will kick the pollen back up right.
-
The wife did a great job after we got black head, fixed his butt, polished his coat just a super handsome fella now. When he came home his eyes were brutal, we didn't know if it was pollen or what. she started him on benadry just one in his dinner, cleared up the eyes in about three weeks, but now he paws at his nose. Is this more pollen or is the benadryl drying out his nose ? is there a sub for benadryl this group would suggest thanx

So sorry, blackies are the best and Leopold proves that. Huge hugs from my guys to you and yours in this time of sorrow. Pain free puppa, run with your crew, God bless, God speed and pick up your wings
