  1. I am so happy for Canyon and you! What a great thing to be able to tell so clearly already that the surgery was a success!
  2. This other thread from this morning seems highly related: http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showto...p;#entry3919739
  3. Yes, I was told by folks here that Beth's ticking would become more prominent with time. Recently a friend saw her for the first time in several months and immediately commented that she looked spottier -- I'd sort of been thinking the same thing myself but wasn't sure. It's especially prominent over her lower back. (She just turned three; maybe ages 2-3 is a prime spot-forming age??)
  4. I am so very sorry. He sounds like a wonderful kitty. I'm glad he had a long life and didn't go through any illness or pain at the end.
  5. Sending good thoughts to sweet Miss Lorelei! Is she home? How's she doing?

    Abita Romeo

I am so sorry for your loss of Romeo and for the difficult experience you went through. I agree with the many wise words of comfort others have posted about your doing the right thing.
  7. Wishing Canyon the best -- I hope he's smiling again soon!
  8. I am so, so sorry you did not have more time. You'll be in my thoughts today.
  9. How awful, poor girlie! I hope the surgeons can work wonders.
  10. Greyt news!! He seems like such a good boy. And wow, fastest roacher in the (east? west? wherever you live!).
  11. Welcome from Iowa! We look forward to you posting pictures of your animals (all of them!).
  12. No experience with any of this but I'm so sorry you and Beau are going through this. I can't imagine the stress. You're in my thoughts!
  13. I am very, very sorry. I hope you find comfort and happy times in your days remaining with Romeo.
  14. Condolences and congratulations. Eagle is so adorable, and looks really happy and relaxed for his first day! I hope you'll post lots of updates on how he's doing!
  15. I am very sorry. Wishing you peace and comfort.
  16. I am so very sorry for your loss. What a wonderful tribute. Bugsy looks a lot like my girl, and sounds like her in ways too, so it really touches me.
  17. Sending good thoughts to poor Beau Beau! (virtual cookies have no effect on IBD!) Prairieprof and half-sister Beth
  18. What a cutie pie! I also visited my houndie several times and took lots of pictures of her before she came home. I never thought of the shirt, great idea!
  19. I use the large Pawz too (for going out in ice and salt, my dog hasn't had foot issues otherwise) -- I was just about to recommend them too!
  20. That's great news. I hope the toe heals fast -- at any rate, great for it to be just a toe. It makes me think of our old family saying about a minor injury, "It's a long way from his heart."
  21. What a shock -- I'm so sorry. Willow sounds wonderful; I love your description.
