I understand Pat. Words cannot begin to express the shock and heart ache. However, I'm certain there was a joyous reunion with a number of hounds today.

I've had insurance for Cleo since she came home more than four years ago. As we added hounds to the family, we added to the policy. Last year I seriously considered cancelling the policy but never quite got around to it. Thank gawd! We more than recouped our four years of payments in 12 months last year. I have complained about the policy restrictions in the past but it's definitely worth having. I am not going to consider cancelling again. The payment I make every month is worth the peace of mind.

As Tania said, we speak of Sophia often. I remember the day clearly. I didn't have computer access over the weekend and a friend was calling me with updates. I got to work and read the news of Sophia's passing. I was a mess. My co-workers were concerned and asking why I was so upset and what had happened. I just couldn't find the words to explain. Hugs to you Patti and Fred. We miss your girl.

Tania, how difficult it must have been to write your beautiful tribute to Onyx. Robert and I are sending you big hugs and the kids send slurpy kisses to their favourite aunt. Striders Sis...thank you for posting those pictures. Tania's going to love them! Run with the wind Onyx!

It is with much sadness that I tell you that Onyx (Lock of the Day) crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night. Her mommy, brother Cannon and sister Divine were all at her side. Onnie...I'm so sorry we didn't get a chance to meet but your mommy made sure I knew you well. Godspeed sweet girl. When you're settled could you send your mommy a sign that you're okay. I know that would mean a lot to her. Tania (CannonsMom) will post more as she is able. I spoke to her this morning and she is doing well...or as well as can be expected.

My four are happy and healthy. Only minor problems over the years caused by the girls lack of coordination. We did have a few tough months with Cole earlier this year but he's finally 100% again.

I'm so sorry Karen. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet Cody. But because of Cody, we've had the joy of friendship and brotherhood. Cody is gone but not forgotten. We're sending you and Michelle big fat Cleo, Cole, Athena and Bella hugs.

Even on the raw diet Cole's teeth & breath are disgusting. He's had annual dentals and we brush on a regular basis. I don't know what else we can do?
