My Aladdin started out by getting explosive diarehhia I took him to the vets and they did a fecal to find out he had ate a lizard due to the type of worms he got and the bacteria. We got a pill to cure this pill was $107.00.(SORRY FORGOT THE NAME OF THE PILL) We also had a complete blood panel done and the blood panel came back normal all within the correct numbers for a greyhound.Aladdin never started to put weight back even on though he is eating and eating very well, he has started to lose weight to where you can see all his ribs it breaks my heart to look at him, I called the vet back, she wants to now do a x-ray of the stomach and saying its a possibility he may have Lymphoma. His energy level is down and he is sleeping a lot. Does anyone have any experience with this or know if there is anything else I can do? We spare no expense when it comes to our dogs but the x-ray is going to be $237.00 is that going to show them what they need and do you think that is the correct thing that should be done next? She says after the X-rays she may then have to send me to a Specialist. I just want to make sure there is not something we can do or if there is any suggestions as to what maybe we could do different.Thank You so much in advance for any and all suggestions and good thoughts for Aladdin.

Update 2/10/12 We got a new vet that has over 20 years of experience. There prices are a lot more to the normal that everyone is speaking about, they treat many greyhounds in this area, we have a appointment at 11. They are calling to get his medical records now, any and all prayers are appreciated. Aladdin has lost more weight just since the beginning of the week. DH put him on the scales and he is down another 5 pounds. We can not wait until Monday, we want to hear now! It is very hard when you move in a new area but this vet comes with a lot of experience with greyhounds. Any and all prayers is appreciated!
