  9. It sure could be. about 3 weeks after we got Chloe we noticed a limp. She was 2.5 years old. I brought her in and the vet showed me where to feel the scar tissue in her shoulder from an old racing injury. Every couple of months it acts up.
  10. It's always something isn't it!? I sure hope all is OK for both yor pups. With my 4, it's rare that I have a day without one of them having a limp for one reason or another.

  15. How adorable!!!! Congrats and keep the pictures coming! He's got some nice lineage in him, Wigwam, HBs and Dutch Bahmama and this boy has 128 races to his name! WOW. He deserves some serious retirement! http://greyhound-data.com/d?showpic=117366...time=1209260167
  16. Beau (4), Teddy (4) and Chloe (4) eat Pro Plan Chicken. I mix in a teaspoon of either purina one or pumpkin as their "treat" daily. Polli (9.5 year old broodie) gets 1/2 Purina one 1/2 EVO mixed in with either boiled chicken and rice, purina one chicken or Tripe lamb. Treats are limited to either Milkbones, Nutro biscuits OR dried chicken tenders. We break up one milkbone to go 3 ways. We don't do a lot of treats.
  17. Oh, no. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful, beautiful boy. Run free sweet Darius.
  18. When any of my dogs have either joint issues/disc etc., their gait will be off on concrete but fine on grass. Even though I do continue to walk them (abeit, a bit less) I do keep them on the strip of grass between the street and sidewalk (by us it's called the easement). If this continues I would have the vet check it out.
  19. I use the CET toothpaste, chews and water additive to help reduce tarter.
  20. How proud and happy she looks with herself!
  21. Interesting stuff I did not know. Robin, can you recommend a good NY-area vet for dentals with greys? I'm thinking of trying someone who comes with good recs rather than our current vet for Speck's next dental. Absolutely.. A&A in Franklin Square. Exit 15 off the SS. Wasy for you to get to from the city. Either Dr. Friedman, Longo or (forgot his name, a greek name) but any of them are 110% mor than qualified to do the dentals with full anesethia. They do all the vetting for both LI groups and "get it". Interesting stuff I did not know. Robin, can you recommend a good NY-area vet for dentals with greys? 22. We have no ticks on the south shore of LI so I do not use it UNLESS we are going to visit our Pocono home.
  23. Hope your baby heals fast. Don't know anything about the novelxin.
